About - A Grand Future

Background

I’ve kind of always had this informal hobby – I liked to envision different possible futures for humankind. What would the world look like in 25, 50, or 100 years? This personal fascination led me down many random ‘research’ rabbit holes and added a plethora of science(y) books to my shelves, over the years. I’ve spent countless hours devouring any source of knowledge I could get my hands on.

Pursuing this path has helped me grow a deep respect for the natural world and an appreciation of all life. The interconnected natural systems of our planet are truly astounding.

I think it’s important to dig down and discover WHY things are the way they are. I’ve always had this desire, honestly almost a deep-rooted calling to get the message of a bright future out to the world in some fashion.

I wanted to somehow be involved in creating a better world; a world we could all be proud of. And, in some way, starting up ‘A Grand Future’ feels “right” to me and that I am fulfilling my purpose. I’m just glad I get to finally share and have an outlet for my passion.

As the reader, you’ll come to see that most of the concepts around here are logic driven, engineering solutions, which would make sense being I have an engineering background. I’m not as ‘well-equipped’ to really weigh in on issues in other areas – be it economics, social-related, or political. But I have come across some interesting proposals in these fields as well. I felt that compiling some of these ideas and putting them to ‘paper’, so to speak, would be a good reference for me, as much for others.

Part of the reason for creating this “collection of ideas” was because when I started searching, I realized there was actually not much information outlining what we needed do to build a bright future. What would that future look like? And how would we go about building this better world.

There are practically no entities, governmental or otherwise, with actionable concrete plans for improving the world.

Being a naturally curious and result driven person, I’d like to see the world become a better place for all, sooner rather than later. I want to find and share ideas with like-minded people who want a brighter future for humanity and the planet. The faster we can all come together to motivate change, the better. And like you, I am in search of answers and seek to make this world a better place.

Note from the Seeker

I believe that we really need to make a concerted and serious effort to try to tackle the big problems facing our species and our planet. Now is the time to make a change, before it’s too late. We are indeed at a critical crossroads in human history.

I believe humanity will need to live in a more sustainable way to preserve the planet for future generations, while also protecting life and the environment. We need to act in order to effect the change we want to see in the world.

This message was born out of concern for the planet, all inhabitants of this world, and the future of humanity. My goal is to create public awareness of some of the issues facing humanity and some possible solutions to solve them.

This discussion needs to take center stage in society. If we’re not asking how can this get better, then we aren’t doing our job for future generations or the planet. Let’s take action to remedy that.

I hope that by tying various ideas together to solve the world’s problems and bringing them ‘under one roof’, we can craft some semblance of a unified game plan towards building an optimistic future. At least, it would be a good start!

I think only by working together do we have a chance of improving the quality of life for all. And as a collaborative effort, we can build a better world. Creating, planning, and implementing systematic solutions are the best way to tackle the world’s difficulties. As opposed to the current disjointed efforts to combat individual problems separately. Only through hard work and using our creative abilities, will we be able to create an awe-inspiring future.

I am not a professional authority on any of the topics on this website. The information on this website are just a compilation of ideas I’ve stumbled on in my informal ‘studies’. And other notions are my own personal musings on the problems we face as a species and what solutions we could implement. This is purely a passion project; I hope others find the information and personal musings beneficial and inspiring.

I hope that the ideas here motivate and encourage others to picture and implement plans towards building a brighter future. If there are mistakes in the information, grammar, or concepts, I apologize in advance. I do this for fun, in my spare time, and do not have an editor. Nor, am I a writer, by trade. All the concepts and ideas are considered starting points for a much broader discussion.

If you feel the topics on this website are important, there are a lot of ways you can support our mission. I encourage you to sign up onto the email list, tell a friend about us, download a free guide, ally with The Alliance, or buy a suggested book to keep the website going.

I don’t have anything to sell, I just have a message I want to share. Any support you feel you could give to help spread the word would be much appreciated!

Oh, and I hope you have A GRAND FUTURE!
